Earth Science Laboratories, Inc. Expands Research and Development Division
Bentonville, Arkansas – October 27, 2015 –Earth Science Laboratories, Inc. is expanding the research and development division of the company and increasing staff.
Fred Singleton has joined the company as Senior Scientist of Microbiology. Dr. Singleton was formerly a principal research scientist with Dow Chemical and has also worked in the science divisions of both Hercules Pulp and Paper, and BetzDearborn, Inc. Prior to corporate life he was an associate professor at the University of Maryland and executive director of the university’s Center for Marine Biotechnology at the Maryland Biotechnological Institute.
Dr. Singleton received his B.S. in Microbiology from Clemson University. He received his Master of Science from the University of Texas and his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.
Also joining the team is Reid H. Bowman, Ph.D., who has consulted for a variety of companies in the water industry. Dr. Bowman previously served as vice president of product development, chief technical officer and co-founder of Applied Process Technology, Inc. Prior to that Dr. Bowman was an associate scientist of Membrane Technology for The Dow Chemical Company.
Both Dr. Singleton and Dr. Bowman will lend their expertise to research and development at Earth Science Labs as well as to the company’s continued commitment to excellent tech support. Earth Science Labs offers a full tech support team in the customer service department that is dedicated to assisting with any pool or spa related questions from PristineBlue® authorized dealers and consumers.
